The co-ordinators of the Putty Hub House Emergency system invite you to Putty Hall on Friday 4 August from 5.30pm for the launch of our new website, Putty Alerts.com.
Putty’s Friday Night Detour, held fortnightly, will be selling meals (menu below) and the bar will be open for drink sales.
Putty Alerts will provide:
~~ Emergency services notifications, news and other information (scroll down the home page)
~~ Fast email alerts for residents and landowners of Putty, Kindarun and Yengo
~~ An alternative information source for people not on Facebook’s Putty Valley Chronicles or RFS Hunter Valley
~~ Easy access to maps, an Emergency Directory, and Hub House Plan
If you don’t know about our Hub House system go to Contact and ask a coordinator how it works.
The Putty fire season starts on 1 September, but now is the time to prepare. Talk to Kenn Mackett from Putty Rural fire Brigade about a property fire assessment and advice on preparations at this Friday’s Detour or phone him on 0401 535 575.
