Due to reduced risk, the local bush fire danger period for the Putty area has been modified by the RFS to be 1 October 2024 to 31 March 2025. During this period, permits issued pursuant to Section 87 of the Act will be required for the lighting of fire for the purposes of land clearance or fire breaks.

NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) is conducting an aerial baiting program in Dharug National Park, Manobalai Nature Reserve, Parr State Conservation Area, Wollemi National Park, Wollemi State Conservation Area, Wollemi Flora Reserve, Koolewong Flora Reserve, and Yengo National Park from Monday 26 August 2024 to Sunday 8 September 2024.
NPWS is also conducting ongoing ground baiting programs in Wollemi National Park and Manobaoai Nature Reserve from Monday 20 May 2024 to Thursday 10th October 2024.
The addresses affected by Ausgrid Power outage range from 478 to 1308 Putty Valley Rd.
The dates will be Tuesday 22/10/2024 to Friday 25/10/2024.
Times: 0830 to 1530
Ausgrid will notify as per their procedures.
