This weekend the Putty Community will come together on Saturday for the annual Christmas Party, and again on Sunday to to learn about preparing for fires, and to wrap presents for Hawkesbury Hospital.
Saturday 16 December – Putty Community Christmas Party
Putty Hall 5.30pm – Supper at 7.00pm. Festive meats supplied. Please bring a plate/dish to contribute to the feast. Christmas carols, children’s activities and visit from Santa. See Putty Online website for more information
Sunday 15 December – Monks of Putty & RFS Info
Putty Hall 1:00 – 4:00pm – Wrapping gifts for those spending Christmas Day at Hawkesbury Hospital. If you have any gifts for adults or children (but mainly adults) please bring them along or drop them off at the Monastery.
Along with the wrapping of Christmas gifts, Kylie Ledger from RFS and Preparedness at Singleton Council will be there talking about preparing for fires, Bush Fire Danger Periods, how and when to get fire permits and giving advice on Bush Fire Survival Plans.
