Putty Roads and Properties Map
In 2021 Singleton Council mapped Putty roads and assigned rural addresses to properties in the area. Rural addressing assigns an individual number to a property in accordance with set rules. The number is based on a distance from the starting point – usually a road intersection – with odd numbers on the left and even numbers on the right.
Rural addressing provides a standardised means for emergency services to locate rural properties (Australia-wide). Please display your rural address number clearly at the entrance to your property. Contact us if you need help with this.
Water Catchment Map
After the floods in 2022 a water catchment map was drawn up to show residents and landholders in the Putty Valley and Yengo where the water was coming from.
